Understanding the InputFinder's Report

InputFinder can prepare a report for you. The report is in the form of a new workbook containing two worksheets. The first worksheet lists all input cells detected by InputFinder. The second worksheet is a subset of the first; it lists only those input cells that are empty (i.e. cells that are referenced by a formula but which contain no data). Both worksheets contain the following information:

Name Description
Report Run Time date and time InputFinder was run
Scanned Worksheet name of worksheet that was scanned
Scan Type this can be either a selected range or entire worksheet
Workbook name of the workbook containing input cells
Worksheet name of the worksheet containing input cells
Cell/Name the location of the input cell (either a cell reference or defined name)
