Margot Robbie has brought two iconic '80s-era Barbies to life.
The actress attended the highly-anticipated film's South Korea premiere in Seoul today, where she continued her marathon of excellent press tour looks in another faithful recreation from the doll's history. For the event, the star brought the 1985 Day-to-Night Barbie to life in two custom Versace looks.
The daytime ensemble was comprised of a bubblegum-pink pencil skirt, a matching blazer with white lapels and detailing, two-tone pink-and-white heels by Manolo Blahnik, and a white wide-brimmed hat with a polka-dot adornment. Further accessories included a small pink top-handle bag and a Judith Leiber clutch in the shape of a retro-style brick phone, which was entirely covered in hot-pink rhinestones.
For the second look, the star changed into an adorable midi-length dress, composed of metallic sequin-covered bodice and a flowy skirt made with layers of pink silk and sheer tulle. She completed the look with pink peep-toe heels by Manolo Blahnik, a small glittery bag, and dainty drop earrings by Taffin Jewelry. She also wore her blonde hair in neat glamorous curls, paired with a glossy nude lip.
The new '80s-era looks have been the most faithful Barbie looks of the press tour so far, with Robbie and stylist Andrew Mukamal also pulling Barbiecore ensembles from various designers and modernizing iconic iterations of the doll's fashions. For last Thursday's Barbie celebration party in Sydney, the actress wore a pink metal-mesh minidress from the Versace's fall 1994 collection. She paired the piece with see-through plastic sandals by Manolo Blahnik and minimal jewelry.
