Cardi B has kicked off Couture Week in a truly extravagant look.

Earlier today, the rapper sat front row at Schiaparelli's fall 2023 couture show this morning, where she wore an intricate all-black ensemble evoking the brand's viral animal theme from last season. The look was comprised of a curve-hugging strapless gown, made of inky velvet fabric and adorned with gold embellishments, and a huge voluminous cape covered in layered wool tufts to evoke a raven's wings. The floor-sweeping dress was cinched at the waist, with a small gold charms placed at the front of her waist and down her back.

She accessorized with a selection of the brand's jewelry, including stacks of gold bangles and anatomical large gold and pearl earrings which fully covered her ears. The star topped off the look with a simple black scarf covering her head, and her glam was comprised of smoky eyeshadow, winged liner, and an ombre nude lip.

The Grammy winner is a longtime red-carpet favorite for her luxurious looks and commitments to themes, whether she's dressed as a vintage showgirl or a moving work of heart. For this year's Met Gala, she embodied the Karl Lagerfeld theme in a structured ballgown by Chenpeng Studio, which began with a white shirt collar and tie before transitioning into a fitted black sweetheart bodice and a full black skirt of giant camellias a la Chanel's Boy Bag. She also traded her black hair for a chic silver-toned bob with flipped ends, tied with a leather hairband.
